JULIE KINZELMAN

In 2000 Julie Kinzelman launched her company as a comprehensive arts management firm providing expertise to clients in the areas of acquisitions, installation design, collections management, and curatorial arts programming. Prior to the inception of her company, Julie was a Partner at an art advisory firm where she managed two offices and multiple corporate art collections. She has extensive experience in site-specific commissions and in contemporary art including promoting the careers of many nationally and internationally prestigious artists. She has lectured about consulting and the contemporary art market and has served on various panel discussions including art in architecture. Julie received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Photography in 1991 from Texas Tech University and her Masters of Fine Arts from the Rochester Institute of Technology in 1994. During that time Julie was an Adjunct Professor of Photography and she worked at the George Eastman House, Museum of Film and Photography. Julie has served as the Vice President of the Board of Directors of the Houston Center for Photography and is currently on the Executive Committee for the Houston chapter of ArtTable Inc., a national membership organization for women leaders in the visual arts. Julie is a Candidate Member of the American Society of Appraisers, is certified in accordance with the Uniform Standards of Appraisal Practice (USPAP) and is fulfilling the Certificate Program for Appraisal Studies at The Rhode Island School of Design.
