Julie Large
Julie Kinzelman launched Kinzelman Art Consulting, a comprehensive arts management firm in 2000. Prior to establishing her company, Julie was a Partner at an art advisory firm where she managed two offices and multiple large-scale corporate art collections for six years. She has extensive experience in amassing and managing art collections, site-specific commissions and is a fine art appraiser. Julie has been invited to lecture about consulting, art in architecture, and the contemporary art market and has served on numerous panel discussions. Julie received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Photography in 1991 from Texas Tech University and her Masters of Fine Arts from the Rochester Institute of Technology in 1994. During her time in Rochester, NY, Julie was an Adjunct Professor of Photography at RIT and worked at the George Eastman House, Museum of Film and Photography. Julie is currently on the Board of Directors of Glasstire, an online magazine covering visual arts in Texas and California and is also on the board for the American Institute of Architects (AIA). She has served as the Vice President of the Board of Directors of the Houston Center for Photography and as Regional Chair of the Executive Committee for the Houston chapter of ArtTable Inc., a national membership organization for women leaders in the visual arts. Julie completed the Certificate Program in Appraisal Studies at the Rhode Island School of Design, is currently a Candidate Member of the American Society of Appraisers (ASA) and is certified in accordance with the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP).
